It is a great honor for Kamfest and Trondheim that Antoine Tamestit, one of the world’s leading violists, has dedicated a full week to the festival. In return, we present a special concert at the Freemason Hall with fellow festival musicians. Highlights include Martinu’s Madrigals with longtime duo partner Alexandra Preucil, Rebecca Clarke’s powerful Viola Sonata and Brahms’ iconic String Quintet in G major – a rich sound world created by the addition of a second viola.
